Flood Relief Camp

The organization remains proactive in conducting relief camps for victims of natural calamities. Several regions in West Bengal—including six villages in Ghatal Block (Paschim Medinipur District), four in Pursurah Block and two in Khanakul Block (Hooghly District), two in Udaynarayanpur Block (Howrah District), four in Raiganj Block (Uttar Dinajpur District), and three in Balurghat Block (Dakshin Dinajpur District)—are particularly prone to flooding. Our volunteers stay vigilant, especially during the rainy season, to provide immediate assistance to affected communities. To date, we have organized 16 flood relief camps, serving more than 33,000 people. During these camps, essential items, including food and daily necessities, were distributed, and rescue operations were carried out in severely affected areas, along with temporary rehabilitation arrangements. In 2017, the state witnessed its most devastating floods since 2007, impacting five districts of West Bengal. Providing relief during natural calamities stands among the most meaningful and compassionate services to humanity.
