Suspended organic matter, such as phytoplankton, bacteria, and grazers, forms the basis of Bio-floc Technology (BFT), utilized in environmentally safe active suspension or heterotrophic ponds. This technology significantly boosts fish biomass in a short time, as food is plentiful. Starting in 2017 in Dakshin Dinajpur and Bankura with three tanks each, the organization currently operates 240 tanks. Initially producing 10,000 kg(10 tonnes) of Koi and Singhi fish, our plan is to expand by 2026 across its entire operational area.
