Kadaknath poultry is highly valued for its rich protein content, low fat, and essential amino acids that support muscle development, making it increasingly popular among health-conscious consumers. For farmers, rearing Kadaknath offers significant economic advantages, as it requires relatively low effort while yielding substantial income. A training program introduced for farmers has already encouraged the participation of 140 individuals, increasing chick production from 8,000 in 2020 to 14,000 by 2023 across 10 districts of West Bengal. Building on this success, the organization is now expanding its operations to 100,000 chicks, extending crucial support to farmers in remote regions and strengthening rural livelihoods.
