Future Plan 2023 Onwards
Solar power has emerged as the most viable substitute for fossil fuels and conventional electricity, especially at a time when people across the country are shocked by rising energy bills. Various national and international agencies have repeatedly warned that fossil fuels and other traditional energy resources may exhaust sooner than expected, pushing us toward an alarming energy crisis. To prevent this situation and preserve remaining reserves for future generations, it is essential to utilize existing resources judiciously and shift toward alternative sources of energy. Among all renewable options, solar energy holds the highest potential to meet the growing demand of the nation due to its abundance, sustainability, and suitability for rural as well as urban areas. Although the Government has launched massive initiatives to promote solar adoption, achieving complete coverage—especially in remote regions—remains a significant challenge. In alignment with these national efforts, our organization has set its own milestone to become self-reliant in energy, beginning with our command area and eventually expanding across PAN India. While our efforts are currently in their infancy, we have already initiated preparatory activities in 50 percent of our command area to lay the foundation for large-scale solar implementation. By the end of 2025, we aim to bring solar energy to most of the villages where we work. In the first phase of our project, 100 remote villages will be electrified through solar power, followed by 500 villages after one year, with the long-term goal of reaching 1,000 villages within the next five years, thereby establishing a sustainable model of clean, affordable, and accessible energy for rural communities.
